All that I need

All That I Need
Dearest One,
Run across the field of dreams and find me waiting there beneath the shimmering light of the full moon. Allow me to see the soft glow of light engulf you as though it was your spirit, I could see. May a gentle breeze blow the field of grass softly around you?
Come closer and allow the breeze to carry the sweet essence of you to me. Such a daring scent that allures my heart and tells me, you are the one, the one that I shall live for. The one I cannot live without and the one woman I have dreamed of all of my life.
For you, my love, I dedicate this poem:
All that I need
My honor is unto the love I carry deep inside
Strong as the silver knight that I cannot hide
Strong as a man lifting up a car without care
I can see my raging motions like smoke in the air
Weary, have I grown, trying to reach too far
I am star-gazer reaching for that one perfect star
She is just out of grasp though, I see her so clear
She is the Star of Heaven that I crave to be near
Lips so poised and prepared for my kiss
Eyes that glisten and are often, so missed
Look into my eyes and bring me my dream
Come be my true love and all that I need
Come closer and take hold of my hand. Allow me the great honor of touching your soft fingers. Place your hand in mine and tell me that you will love me forever more. Love me as I have always loved you. Let our hearts sing in harmony for the blessing of true love, that we share.
Even closer, come to me and stand so that I may touch you with my arms and an eternal embrace. Step into my arms and listen to my heartbeat out the sound of contentment and joy. Listen closely and feel my chest expand in your arms.
“I love you,” are the words that sing out of my mouth as I exhale. “I love you and forever shall I love you, my perfect one.”
Always and forever, you are my one true love.
